First day of school today! It turned out quite nice. The kids were responsive and I only had to reprimand one. Students are still so immature...actually calling people names in class. The new teachers are pretty nice. We have 3 in the English department alone. I hope they had a good first day. I saw a lot of former students today and was thrilled they had a good first day as well. I feel bad I have to drop 3 students from AP, but standards are standards.
The car is being bombarded daily with one thing or another. Water spots are a pain. However, the drive is exquisite. I really enjoy the drive. However, paying for gas...premium fuel, is a HUGE pain.
