Back in Sacramento again and I have started myself a routine. I know I never exercise, but my health has prompted me to start an exercise routine. So, I stretch and use one of those large plastic balls to balance and do some exercises and then, instead of jogging outside, I do a half hour of DDR ( I know...what kind of exercise is that? Well, it works.). At the end of the 45 minutes/hour, I'm tired and sweating...( you prolly didn't want to know that). I also get my two bottles of water in at the same time. Then, every morning, I shower, eat, take meds if I have to and then, at least for the last two days, spend the rest of the day (not including lunch) writing. I've written 18 pages in the last two days...enough to get my new novella to 51 pages typed. It is not that good, but I hope to revise during the year. So, here's to praying that I actually finish before the end of vacation. It is a worthy goal...don't you think? And, it keeps me from buying things and wasting time doing nothing or watching movies...hmm...although, that is tempting.

Today, I attended a memorial service for Kelly Colgan, a friend from the past in which I had regrettably lost touch. She passed away on June 13, 2003 at the mere age of 20 due to complication with Cystic Fibrosis. In life, she was a vibrant and exciting individual that took all that she had and applied it fully to whatever endeavor she had going at the time. In death, she hopes that all of us who knew her will continue to learn more about and help combat the illness that took her life. In lieu of flowers at her funeral and services, she asked that we help donate in her name to the Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute. I know that many of you do not know her, but if you would like to send a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute, you can do so by contacting them at 2672 Bayshore Prky #520, Mountain View, CA 94043.

Happy July 4th Weekend everyone! Oh, new chapter up in The Timegarden.
