I never realized how great fresh air and just being able to breath it all in can be. This morning...about 4 a.m., I woke up, unable to breath. My body calmed itself down and I got up to shallow breaths and rushed myself to the hospital where, lucky me, I was admitted quickly into an emergency room where there was only one other patient. After some probbing questions and a few checks and a couple x-rays, it came down to acid reflux(the acid had gone up and over into my trachea and started drowning me in my sleep (I guess) and the shallow breathing and dizziness came as a result of all that). Now, all I can think of is all those commercials with that little purple pill. But, I'm not taking that although I am on several different meds and an inhaler.
I feel bad that I had to take another day off of work. I have to start my new unit and I can't do that if I am out all the time and the last sub didn't exactly do what I had asked. Although, for this one, I was kinda out of it and in the emergency room, so I could only make the call to have the sub system get me a sub quick.
Right now, I feel a little bit better and my breaths are getting back to normal due to the inhaler (although sometimes my breathing is still a bit shallow).
In other news...my new car runs SWEEEEET!!! Although...most of the miles on it right now are to the hospital and back and to Costco to get some water and back. The only drawbacks to this car: 1) No auto on/off headlights. 2) Kinda cramped in the back - but, that is what I get for getting a coupe. 3) Leather, BLACK leather is very hot in the summer - but, the heated seats will come in nicely in the winter...lol. 4) No more drawbacks...just the time needed on a Saturday to install the spoiler and extra coat to protect the paint and leather seats. Now, if only my sister learns how to drive now that she has a car...We shall see.
