It seems that I have become prone to random blogging instead of constant, ever vigilant updates. And yes, I find myself bored half the time. Work is the same as it always has been. I decided months ago I would pilot 4 sets of books for my department and I hope that I am ready for it. Other than that, vacation is around the corner...one week left to go.
Dave's house is the same as it was a month ago. The downstairs area is still pretty bare, but I am barely down there anyway. The past three days has been a torrential downpour of rain, rain, and more rain coupled by strong gusts and hail. It has been a joy!
Just saw ST: Nemesis on Friday with friends. I must say that, after much reflection, that the film had a lot more to it than meets the eye. I originally looked at it as sci-fi adventure and how, on that basis, it compared to other ST films. However, with the doubles of Picard and Data and the argument of Nature vs. Nurture, the themes within the plot align themselves to make a much better film than expected and more thought provoking than at first glance. If you have not seen it yet, I won't spoil it...it is interesting to say the least. I can't wait for LOTR:TT to open this Wednesday.
Last, but certainly not least by far...Congratulations to Anna Ng on her engagement to Mike Gin! Here's to the happy couple.
