So...MY COMPUTER DIED!!!!
The laptop I got from school sporadically decided that it was time to quit and not fully boot up again. And, to top it off, it is a Compaq, so it has very specific recovery disks (that do not want to work right now), and it is Windows 2000 Pro which is even more specific, and to top it off, the computer belongs to the school district and, guess what?, they do not give us the full software nor the right to "fix" the computer. So, I am laptop-less for awhile.
Other than that, I am spending a little time with my sister and her bf in Fremont. It is "hot" here, but that constitutes 85 degree weather, and I am really happy with that, considering it is over 105 in Sacramento/Davis currently. So, not going to complain.
I think I will take some time to contemplate life and read a couple of books I just bought...hahaha...
